Sudberry Properties has trusted Twining to be their quality assurance consultant for all development phases of this unique and state of the art community. Twining provided special inspection and testing on the completed Civita 37, West Park, Civita Recreation Center projects and is currently serving in the same capacity for the ongoing Purl Development.
Civita 1, known as Circa 37, consisted of 306 apartment homes with a combined area of 71,000 square feet. Located on 10.5 acres of land, this project was completed in 2012. In 2013, Circa 37 was recognized as The Best Attached Project by the San Diego Building Industry Association.
Civita 2, known as West Park, consisted of two parking structures, three uniquely landscaped pool areas, and a nearly 10,000-square-foot fitness and recreation center.
West Park includes 612 apartment homes with a combined area of 508,000 square feet. Located on 10 acres of land, the project was completed in 2016. West Park was honored with one of the nation’s top architectural awards, the Gold Award for Best Architectural Design of an Attached Community at The Nationals, which includes a competition sponsored by The National Association of Home Builders.
Civita 3, also known as Purl, consisted of two main buildings. Building A featured four levels of residential units over a one level basement parking garage, and included 255 residential units for a combined area of 298,538 square feet with 12,527 square feet of amenities. Building B consisted of one level of subterranean parking, two levels of above grade mixed use, and four levels of apartments. This phase also included a club room, co-working studio, and retail. All told, Building B includes179 residential units with a combined area of 222,291 square feet and 10,146 square feet of amenities.
