County of Ventura, Fillmore Library Addition

The Ventura County Fillmore library expansion project design includes a $1.5 million, 2,200 square-foot addition to the existing Fillmore Library. The addition is to include a community meeting room, reading lounge, two study rooms and classroom and two new ADA compliant restrooms.

Twining provided a geotechnical investigation for the proposed structure, including a review of background information on the site and existing structure, a field exploration, geotechnical laboratory testing of site soils, an engineering analyses, and a geotechnical report.

Following the completion of the design phase, Twining was retained to provide materials testing and inspection throughout construction. Additionally, we stayed on as the geotechnical engineer of record for the construction phase as well.
